Not bad at all as analysis but I wonder who Bob thinks actually welcomes these trends as opposed to refusing to engage in denial of them. As for halting the dynamic at issue by doing more of the same rather than gracefully accommodating it and turning it to our advantage, please recall the experience of King Canute.
