UK steps up pressure for Mideast peace

Britain signalled on Tuesday that it would significantly ramp up pressure on Israel to negotiate with the Palestinian Authority over the Middle East peace process, calling on world powers to draw up a statement formally setting out the parameters for a two-state solution.
