Shouldn't the U.S. be "watching" Tunisian assets in US banks?

It has been reported that the French say they are "watching" Tunisian
assets in French banks.

Shouldn't the US also be "watching" Tunisian assets in US banks? Isn't
it likely that a new government may try to recover looted wealth, or
that there will be civil
judgments against people linked to the previous regime? Does
anyone know what's going on with this? I have seen no mention of this in
the press.

"Finance Minister Christine Lagarde of France — a former colonial
overseer of Tunisia — told French radio that Paris is keeping a close
watch on the assets of Tunisians in French banks."
